The Heat Transfer of Stainless Steel Reaction Vessel

Heating method of stainless steel reaction tank include steam heating, electric heating and conducting oil heating to meet the process needs of different work environment like acid resistance, high temperature resistance, abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance and so on.

The heat transfer element of stainless steel reactor can keep the best reaction temperature. When heat exchange area of reaction vessel jacket layer can meet the requirements of heat transferring, give priority to jacket, this can reduce the container component, easy to clean, do not occupy the effective volume.

The heat exchanging element commonly is jacket layer and inner tube. Stainless steel reactor can design and manufacture based on user’s technology requirements. Stainless steel reactor consists of a kettle body, a kettle cover, jacket layer, agitator, gear, shaft seal device, supporting etc.
There are many process factors affecting the stainless steel reactor to generate thermal crack in welding, such as the joint form, process specification, preheating temperature, structure stiffness and work piece clamping conditions are all have an influence on the welding anti cracking ability.

The process measures of reaction vessel with high current, fast welding, single layer welding, line operation is easy to cause welding stress which will make the thermal crack. Therefore, when conditions permit, you should try to use small current, multi-layer welding, in order to reduce the thermal crack tendency.

Often use preheating method for welding structure with larger rigidity work piece. On one hand, preheating can reduce the cooling rate, slow down the tensile stress generated in cooling process; and on the other hand, can improve the crystallization conditions, reduce the no uniformity of chemistry and physics. Preheating temperature depends on the chemical composition of steel type and size of structure stiffness.

The higher the steel carbon content is, the more other alloy element is contained, the greater stiffness of stainless steel kettle is, and the higher preheating temperature is required. The reaction kettle enterprises adopt circulating cooling water treatment technology not only can solve the problems like unstable production, low heat transfer efficiency, but also greatly save the production water.

If the failure phenomenon is leakage occurring on sealing surface of stainless steel reaction vessel, we can troubleshoot the reason by screw thread loosing or sealing surface damaging. Fault elimination ways of reaction kettle: retighten the screw, re grind and polish the sealing surface. Failure phenomenon: leakage at the valve. The fault reason: valve rod (needle), valve sealing surface damage. Fault elimination ways: repair, replace valve stem (needle), valve port.
